House and van shopping has reminded me of an important lesson: don’t settle. It’s easy to find options that could work, but sometimes they come with more time, energy, and stress than they’re worth. I’ve found places and vehicles that seem like a good deal, but I’ve learned that it’s better to wait for the right fit.

In the past, I bought a cheap van that lasted, but I found myself wishing I had invested in something more reliable. The same goes for a home. I want a space that feels right, where I can truly relax and live comfortably without constantly dealing with repairs or upkeep.

The key is patience. The perfect fit will come along when the time is right, and it’ll be worth the wait. The grass might seem greener elsewhere, but it’s the right choice, not the rush, that makes all the difference.
